CHALLENGE

Design a 20” x 24” compact utlity cargo bike with a focus on single passenger. Bike should compliment Via and Via pro family. Criteria for the bike is 53 lbs or less, 500W motor, $1499 - $15999 price point, integrated rack, geometry set up for easy maneuverability, 1 kid carry, design with passenger in mind, low step through frame for easy on and off.

INSIGHT

Through consumer research and previous generation eBike models we learned about the new criteria that our demographic was looking for. Users wanted a smaller, lighter version of a Cargo eBike that is able to carry one small passenger. After the launch of the Flyer Flex we learned users wanted a larger battery so the team reacted quickly to make our larger battery from the Via and Via pro fit this frame.
