CHALLENGE

With a history of helping Telsa develop kid versions of their products, Radio Flyer approached Tesla to create a smaller version of the Cyberquad. The Cyberquad was introduced during a reveal event for the Cybertruck, where it was sitting in the bed of the truck. We were tasked to preserve the faceted look of the quad while adding our own integrated details to make sure it passed all child safety requirements.

INSIGHT

The Cyberquad was scaled down and I was tasked to rebuild the entire body in Solidworks. We worked closely with the Tesla design team receiving feedback and approval on proportions and custom details.

SOLUTION

An all electric four wheel ride on toy inspired by the Cybertruck design and features a full steel frame, cushioned seat, rear disk braking and LED light bar. Powered by lithium-ion battery with up to 15 miles of range and a 500W motor with a top speed of 10mph. Ride on is certified under ASTM F963 and meets U.S. Consumer Product Safety Standards for ride-on toys.
