CHALLENGE

During 2021 the popularity of eBikes grew and was not slowing down. The motor and battery technology also allowed consumers to get into this alternative transportation at a lower cost. These changes in the external environment allowed Radio Flyer to make the move into the eBike world with the the first generation M880 (midtail) & L885 (longtail) under the brand Flyer.

INSIGHT

I was tasked to lead design for the project, which included the frame design, custom details, sourcing components and developing accessories. After the launch both eBikes received numerous positive review with 4.8 stars from consumers and media. This was the launch that the market accepted Radio Flyer as a player in the eBike industry.
